I stopped!

Oh well. I’ll try again on Thursday when we have a 4 mile club championship race (obviously I’ll just trudge round rather than race)

    perhaps it’s time to do a bit of cross training to give you a rest (and your leg) from running? I took 3 weeks off running recently and feel much better for it (did bike and dvd workout instead as cardio) 🙂 Just a thought x

    @Sarah and Errign – I’ve learnt that being sensible is really more sensible!!!!!!!!

    @ Lorn – Well that’s what I’ve been doing really (despite the appalling lack of exercise this week!), It’ll be 2 wks without running today and I it was 10 days when I tried the run on Saturday. I’ve been doing a lot of dvd and weights workouts at home and plenty of walking too! I can’t bike as I don’t have one (and can’t get to the gym at the moment – school holidays are SO busy when you have a 2 kids and a hubby to organise….). I’m going to look into getting a hybrid bike though as we can do that on the ride to work scheme. Only problem is that I live in the middle of a pretty hilly place so there aren’t any ‘ease yourself in’ options!
